The children in Foxgloves have been showing an interest in the bear hunt story, we decided to go on a bear hunt in the room. All the children sat down and listened to the story, they copied the different actions from the member of staff. All the children waved their arms whilst pretending to go through the grass. They then splashed their hands up and down whilst going through the river. They then clapped through the mud. We then decided to go on our own bear hunt through the nursery all the children followed the member of staff through the sensory room pretending it was the forest. They then went down the corridor to find the bear which they jumped on. They then all ran back away from the bear back to foxgloves.
The children had lots of fun going on their adventure.
