Here at Busy Bees Bury St Edmunds, we had great fun celebrating World Book Day.  Here at Busy Bees, all of our children enjoy exploring books and sharing stories with their Key Person.  Lots of the children and members of staff came in dressed as their favourite book character.  We had the Hungry Caterpillar, a Stick Man, a Lion from the story 'Dear Zoo' and lots of other fantastic costumes.  There was a prize for the Best Dressed Child in each room and the Winners were:

Samuel from Bluebells who was dressed as The Tiger who came to Tea

Millie from Poppy Room who came as a lion from her favourite book 'Dear Zoo'

Florence from Sunflowers who came dressed as a very bright Hungry Caterpillar

Ivy from our Caterpillar Room who came in a very unique handmade outfit of The Hungry Caterpillar

Oliver from our Pre-School Room who came in a fantastic Stick Man Costume, made with real sticks from his garden.

All of the children were able to join in with a fun cooking activity and made their very own Gingerbread Men to take home with them too.

A fab day was had by all!!
