Here at Busy Bees Altrincham, we offer excellent childcare so that every child receives the absolute best start in life with us. There is much to love about our wonderful nursery, from the plethora of fun-filled activities to our unique outdoor sensory classroom, rest assured your child will thrive during their stay at nursery.  

The highly experienced staff will support your child throughout each stage of their development, by following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. With the support from our very own Teacher, preschool children will receive guidance from professionally guided knowledge to further their development, so they are well prepared for the next steps in their educational journey.  

Our friendly, down-to-earth team go the extra mile to ensure that your child is safe, supported and well looked after whilst in their care. For the younger children, who still require that extra close care and attention, we provide comfortable cots and age-appropriate activities, as well as nappies, wipes and formula milk if required within the fees you pay.  

With our proactive and enthusiastic parent partnership group sessions you can join us to discuss innovative ideas and provide feedback to help enhance the service provided. We also regularly hold family fun stay and play sessions so parents and families can join in on the excitement.  

As well as all the fantastic resources provided at the nursery, you can continue the fun at home through our learning and development app, UP! Here you will find a wide range of resources, activities, information, and advice on how to support your child's learning at home.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Altrincham

We know how tricky it can be to get little ones to eat food which will fuel their growth and development. To make parents’ lives as easy as possible, we have a delicious menu that includes all the good stuff to help support this!  

Even better – the fees you pay include all meals, drinks and snacks which are prepared on-site by our nursery chef each day.  

Get an idea of what your child could expect to eat while at our Altrincham nursery:   

Breakfast 

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.   

Morning Snack 

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, with a drink of milk or water.  

Lunch 

Vegetable nuggets with root vegetable mash and baked beans, followed by peaches with mixed berry sauce, with a drink of water.  

Afternoon Snack 

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks with a drink of milk or water.  

Early Evening Snack 

Vegetable sticks followed by hummus and cucumber sandwiches or cheese sandwiches, with a drink of water.

Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Altrincham are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Busy Bees Nursery Altrincham Location

You will find our nursery located on Ellesmere Road, just a 3-minute drive from the town centre and a 2-minute walk from the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse.  

For families arriving by car, we have an onsite car park to make collections and drop-offs as safe and seamless as possible.  

If you are visiting on foot, rest assured you can leave any prams or pushchairs in our secure buggy store. 

Arriving via public transport? You will find a bus stop a short walk away on Barrington Road, served by bus routes 245, 247, 19 and CAT 5. There is also a train station and tram service just an 8-minute walk away on Navigation Road.
