Busy Bees at Chippenham Bath Road is a colourful one-storey nursery in Chippenham with good transportation links and close to local amenities and primary schools. Situated on the Bath Road, our nursery is located next to Sainsbury’s and McDonald’s. To meet parents’ needs for swift and convenient drop offs and pick-ups, we have our own private car park on site.  

Our bright and spacious childcare setting caters for children from 3 months to 5 years who experience a homely, caring, and nurturing environment following the high standards of a Busy Bees nursery. We offer a variety of activities across the different age groups planned by our qualified staff who ensure that children have fun whilst growing and developing. 

Baby Room has a black and white area which enhances babies’ senses and supports their development encouraging them to explore and investigate their surroundings. A quiet lilac area is also available for those quiet moments when needed. Toddler Room offers plenty of stimulating activities for children as we start to encourage those important independent skills which will be needed later on in life. We help parents with their child’s potty training and encourage their children to share and take turns, which is very difficult at this age. In our Pre-school Room our children get the opportunity to do gardening and cooking alongside our Nursery Chef. They also get many opportunities to become independent learners, making their own decisions whilst enabling them to be prepared for the big school. All rooms have access to their own large garden area where our little explorers enjoy the outdoors.  

Staff use the UP app daily and we provide our own Yoga and music and movement classes which help to develop children’s physical development and allows them to explore rhythm and movement. We use UP for story time as well as singing and rhyme times, encouraging children to engage during small group times, learning new words and phrases and beginning to show confidence when joining in alongside others. 

Our nursery dedicated Chef prepares delicious meals to fill children’s little tummies. All our food is cooked from fresh with no added additives and with seasonal ingredients. Our menu is NHS accredited and we can cater for any specific dietary requirements.
