We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Treetops Caterpillar, Deeping St James

Children need nutritious food to get them through busy days. At our Market Deeping nursery, we provide snacks, meals, and drinks for your child during their day with us, all of which are included in your nursery fees. 

Delicious and packed with all the natural goodness growing children need, our seasonal menus are NHS-accredited and are prepared with locally sourced ingredients. They're prepared on-site by our trained nursery chef, who would be happy to accommodate any dietary requirements or allergies, simply speak to your Centre Manager to find out more. 

On a typical day at Busy Bees Deeping St James, your child might enjoy: 

Breakfast  

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack  

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch  

Lamb or Quorn dinner served with root vegetable mash, green beans and a cup of water. Followed with pears for dessert.  

Afternoon Snack  

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack 

Mini ploughman's or vegetarian ploughman’s served with chutney and a cup of water. Followed by orange and sultanas for dessert.

"The direct nursery staff are fantastic and my child adores them. However, I've experienced conflicting and bad communication which put me in dept of fees and i keep receiving incorrect invoices. "

"Overall it has been fairly good for our son, particularly when he first started. Unfortunately he’s had many changes in his key person over the past few weeks so has struggled a little bit with finding a bond and for me to know who to communicate with about his day. It will be wonderful when we can start coming in through the gate and garden again to drop off as the handover in the mornings can be quite stressful with long queues. The ladies are very helpful and friendly."
