Set your child up for the best start in life with Montessori by Busy Bees' Fortune Green nursery. Based in leafy West Hampstead and within walking distance from the Jubilee and Overground lines, our nursery features a wealth of excellent facilities designed to help children learn and thrive. 

We have multiple large rooms, each dedicated to a separate age group: babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. This allows the children to develop at their own pace, and around others at a similar stage. Bright, airy, and very welcoming, these rooms give the kids an opportunity to explore the activities they enjoy most. 

Our nursery is well equipped with a variety of educational toys, role play equipment and activity corners. So, whether your child loves to read, engage in  sensory play or learn about animals with toys, there's always something to keep them happy and having fun. With the extra-curricular activities available, your little one can enjoy sports, yoga, music and Spanish classes too!

We're also lucky to have access to a fully qualified teacher at our West Hampstead nursery, allowing the children to receive professionally guided knowledge to help further their development. By following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, we help pre-school children prepare for that next big step: into primary school education. Through our ParentZone app, you can also easily keep up to date with your child's major milestones and what they’ve been learning with us.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Montessori by Busy Bees Fortune Green

Here, at our Montessori nursery in West Hampstead, we understand just how much of a challenge it can be to get children to eat healthily. That's why we've worked hard with dietary experts to come up with seasonal, NHS-accredited menus, packed with delicious dishes the children will love. Served up the Montessori way. 

All our food, snacks and drinks are freshly prepared, on-site by our talented nursery chef. And better still? They're all included in your nursery fees. If your child has specific dietary requirements, don't worry - we can account for them. Simply speak to your Centre Director to find out more.

Breakfast:

Fruit with a selection of cereal of porridge. 

Morning Snack:
 
Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods. Served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch:

Vegetarian sausage with mashed potato and homemade baked beans, with fruit yoghurt for dessert. Served with a cup of water. 

Afternoon Snack:

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks. Served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack:

Satsuma smiles, followed by a toasted bagel topped with cream cheese and a side of summer slaw. Served with a cup of water.

Our Fees

We believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Click the button below for weekly, daily, and session rates for our exceptional childcare.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Montessori Nursery in West Hampstead are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Montessori Nursery West Hampstead Location

You’ll find our West Hampstead day nursery situated on Fortune Green Road.  

We’re very accessible via a number of methods. Fortune Green Road (B510) features a number of bus stops, including Fortune Green Stop CM and Stop CJ – both of which are on the 139 and 328 routes. 

West Hampstead railway station (North London Line) and West Hampstead tube station (Jubilee Line) are both just a 15-minute walk away from the centre. 

When you arrive, you’ll also be able to safely store your buggy in our secure buggy store – giving you greater convenience during pick-ups and drop-offs.
