Our nursery rooms are each tailored to different age categories and child development stages. So, if your child is three or four years old, they may spend their time in a room with more of a classroom set up, complete with activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum, which will ready them for the next big stage of their education journey.

Our Sensory Room is a relaxing space providing a unique sensory experience with activities and equipment to explore, engaging and stimulating children’s senses.

Parent Room
Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.

Smart Board
Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

Book Extra Sessions Online
We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Greenwich

The fees you pay include all meals, drinks, and snacks prepared on-site by our nursery chef. Our trained nursery chef understands how important it is to get little ones eating the right foods to support good growth and development. Our menus are NHS-accredited, and mealtimes are always a fun event within the nursery setting.

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, with a drink of milk or water.

Lunch

Garlic bread, followed by loaded mac and cheese (vegetarian option available) served with green beans, with a drink of water.

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks, with a drink of milk or water.

Early Evening Snack

Salmon mayo and sweetcorn wrap or cheese wrap, with mixed peppers and carrot sticks, followed by peaches, strawberries, and yoghurt. With a drink of water.

At Busy Bees Greenwich, we are incredibly proud of the outdoor space on offer to children. We encourage getting outdoors as much as possible, when the weather permits, as we understand the positive benefits of fresh air for both the mind and body. 

With a huge range of activities and equipment available, from bikes to balls, grassy areas to role play, there is never a dull moment whether inside or out at our Woolwich nursery.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Woolwich are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Busy Bees Nursery Woolwich Location

You’ll find our Greenwich nursery on Antelope Road, south of the river. We are easily accessed by Southern Eastern Trains, with Woolwich Dockyard being the closest stop to our nursery. 

To allow for easy and safe collection and drop-off, we have an onsite car park available for parents, as well as a buggy store for those arriving on foot who would like to leave their stroller. 

For the safety of all children, staff, and visitors, we have CCTV around the building, as well as secure access.
