Are you looking for excellent childcare in Lancaster? Here at Busy Bees Lancaster, there are endless opportunities available for your little ones to learn, develop and thrive, during their stay at nursery. 

We understand just how important it is for children to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. So, with our newly refurbished outdoor garden play area, separated into each age group, your child can enjoy learning outdoors, exploring their imagination and taking on safe risks.  

To help keep your little one's mind and body stimulated, we have an Unleashing Potential room available, where children can get involved in yoga sessions and dance classes. You can continue the fun at home with our learning and development app, UP, which offers a range of activities. 

Rest assured your child will be fully supported by our friendly team, so, whether your little one still requires that extra close care and attention, or they are preparing for the next steps in their educational journey, your child will receive the very best start in life at our nursery in Lancaster. 

Our highly qualified team, cherish the bonds and connections they have made with parents and families and truly care about your feedback, which is why we hold parent partnership group sessions to discuss innovative ideas to help enhance the service we provide. We will even invite you to play day sessions so you can get involved in all the excitement too!

Our Sensory Room is a relaxing space providing a unique sensory experience with activities and equipment to explore, engaging and stimulating children’s senses.

Parent Room
Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.

Smart Board
Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

Book Extra Sessions Online
We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees in Lancaster

We want to make sure your child is getting the absolute best from the time they spend with us at Busy Bees Lancaster. So, our nursery chefs create delicious and nutritious meals and snacks to keep little tummies full! All of which are included within the fees you pay.  

Does your child suffer from allergies or have any specific dietary requirements? Speak with the Centre Director who will be happy to discuss other safe and tasty alternatives.   

Get a taste of what your child might enjoy while spending the day with us:   

Breakfast  

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack  

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch  

Lamb or Quorn dinner served with root vegetable mash, green beans and a cup of water. Followed with pears for dessert.  

Afternoon Snack  

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack 

Mini ploughman's or vegetarian ploughman’s served with chutney and a cup of water. Followed by orange and sultanas for dessert.

Our Fees

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Lancaster are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Busy Bees Nursery Lancaster Location

Your will find our nursery in Lancaster, just a 10-minute drive from the City Centre.  

Located just off the A683, we are in the perfect location for those commuting. Rest assured, if you are arriving by car, we have a large car parking facility onsite, for easy drop-offs and collections.  

Arriving via public transport? There is a bus stop nearby at AXA insurance serving route 6A.
