Welcome to Busy Bees at Bramleys Day Nursery Ardington, a purpose-built nursery near you, offering exceptional childcare in Ardington.

We believe in making every day an exciting adventure, so no matter what your child’s needs and interests are, there is something for every child to enjoy! From arts and crafts to sensory exploration, we offer a range of engaging experiences that inspire imagination and creativity. 

Our nursery boasts a large garden area, with base rooms that lead into individual gardens, allowing a seamless free flow system between indoor and outdoor play. With so much for the children to enjoy, we are proud to offer outdoor yoga sessions with Buzz, providing a holistic experience that promotes physical well-being, mindfulness, and relaxation for children. 

And the fun does not stop there! Situated in a beautiful woodland location, we embrace nature through exciting Welly Walks. Children have the opportunity to explore the outdoors, discover the wonders of the woodland, and develop a sense of appreciation for the environment. 

To extend the fun and learning beyond the nursery, we offer our 'UP' app. Here you can find resources, activities, information, and advice on how to support your child with their learning and development at home.

Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Bramleys Day Nursery Ardington

We understand the importance of making sure children get the right nourishment to support good growth and development. At our Ardington nursery, children receive all meals, drinks, and snacks as part of the fees you pay.   

The menus work on a week-by-week basis and are varied and changed seasonally. Does your child have any specific dietary requirements or allergies? Get in touch with the Centre Director - who will be happy to discuss other safe alternatives for your child.   

Get a taste of what your child could expect to eat while at our nursery in Ardington: 

Breakfast  

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack  

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods, served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch  

Garlic bread, followed by seaside pasta bake (vegetarian option: veggie pasta bake) served with green beans, sweetcorn and a cup of water.  

Afternoon Snack  

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack 

A selection of pitta pockets for the children to choose from, served with coleslaw and a cup of water. Followed with fresh fruit for dessert.

Our Fees

We believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Click the button below for weekly, daily, and session rates for our exceptional childcare.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your child's age, each year for your child. Find out more on our 'Funding Options' page. Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Wantage are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.
