About our Nursery

Little boy driving toy car

Busy Bees at Norfolk & Norwich is a new purpose-designed nursery, set in the grounds of the hospital. The nursery caters for children aged from 3 months to 5 years and is open to the general public as well as NHS staff.

The nursery has two large, fully enclosed, soft surface, outdoor play areas and a grassed area, all of which have a wide variety of equipment for outdoor play.

The nursery has been designed and decorated to a high specification, to make it bright and inviting. The rooms are fully equipped with extensive modern play equipment, toys and educational activities for all types of play and development.

For example, dressing up equipment for role play activities, art and craft resources, water and sand play and plenty of books for story time.

Security of the nursery is of high importance, and admittance to the nursery building is through a secure video entry system.

There is off the road parking at the nursery for parents and visitors and a number of drop-off spaces.

Food for thought

All of our meals and snacks are freshly prepared on site by our cook, using fresh local ingredients. Any special dietary requirements are agreed with parents.
