Large and modern, our day nursery features welcoming rooms finished in soft colours to create a calming atmosphere. Each room is split out by age range, so children can be around those at a similar stage in their development. It also gives them time and space to learn at their own pace.

For us, learning while having fun is hugely important for children. Babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers all have access to a range of toys designed to help them learn about the world around them. There's something for all little ones too - whether it's Toddler's Quiet Area for children who love to read or the creative space where kids can let their imaginations run wild.

We also encourage the kids to be active in the fresh air and explore the outdoors. With our secure outdoor space, there are plenty of opportunities for them to have fun with friends and challenge themselves by taking safe risks in a supervised environment. There are trikes, bikes, or scooters for them to race around on, comfortable benches or seating to rest little legs, and lots more.

The team is always looking to keep the children engaged and involved through exciting and stimulating activities. Food at Busy Bees Carlton Park

During their time at our day nursery in Narborough, your child will be provided with snacks, meals, and drinks from our NHS-accredited menu. It's all included in the fees you pay - so, you don't have to worry about additional costs.

We understand how much of a challenge it can be to get children to eat healthily, which is why we've created seasonal menus packed full of delicious and nutritious snacks and dishes. Freshly prepared on-site by our nursery chef, these snacks and meals give children the opportunity to enjoy a balanced diet while being introduced to new and exciting foods.

Does your child have a specific dietary requirement or suffer from allergies? Don't worry - our team will account for any needs when preparing food and drink. Your Centre Director will be more than happy to discuss any dietary requirements or your child's diet in general.

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods. Served with a cup of milk or water.

Lunch

Salmon fish fingers or veggie croquette with mushy peas and roast or boiled potatoes, followed by Greek yoghurt and berry cake. Served with a cup of water.

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks. Served with a cup of milk or water.

Early Evening Snack

Sour cream and chive dip with vegetable sticks, followed by an English muffin topped with homemade baked beans and cheese. Served with a cup of water.

We're located at Carlton Park on King Edward Avenue in the village of Narborough, which is around seven miles from Leicester city centre, with the M1 motorway just a short drive from our nursery.

Planning to visit us by train? We're less than a mile (or around a 20-minute walk) from Narborough train station.

On arrival, you'll see that we have a buggy store - which is great if you're visiting on foot. Here, you can securely store your pram or buggy during your visit. We also have a big car park, so parents can safely pick up and drop off children well away from any busy roads.
