 My name is Sam Leggett, I have been with the nursery for 10yrs, I started as a fresh faced qualified nursery nurse in 2002 and have worked with all ages from 0-8yrs .
Over the years I have been promoted to base room manager, deputy and am now the joint manager of Colchester .
I have two wonderful children who both attend nursery with me, and thoroughly enjoy their time here .
Having been here for such a long time Colchester nursery is my second home and close to my heart, I love seeing the dedication my staff have to children and parents in the nursery and seeing children thrive in our stimulating environment.
I am currently enrolled in a leadership and management programme to help further my knowledge in this area.

My name is Jodie Cherry, I am currently Manager 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
I am married to Dean and have two lovely children, Maisy 8 and Lily 5.
Both my children have attended nursery since they were 6 months old and have both gained from the experience. They have a very special bond with the staff and made some very special long term friends.
 

I have been at Colchester for 10 years as Manager and in this time I completed my foundation degree and BA honours, this has allowed me to have an in-depth insight into the needs of the children, staff and how to implement the best opportunities for running our beautiful nursery.

Both Jodie and Sam have worked at the nursery since it opened in 2002 and feel that by having 2 Managers they have twice the experience and knowledge to offer the children, parents and staff, having nearly 29 years experience between them!
