Busy Bees in Colchester is a purpose-built nursery with large fully equipped base rooms designed specifically for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
It is ideally located with close access to the A12, A120 and the town centre.
We have 2 Nursery Managers;
Gina Curry who qualified with an NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing in 1996, and Jodie Cherry, who qualified with an NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing in 1994. In 2008 she completed her Foundation Degree in Early Years.
Both Gina and Jodie have worked at the nursery since it opened in 2002 and feel that by having 2 Managers they have twice the experience and knowledge to offer the children, parents and staff, having nearly 30 years experience between them!

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.
To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Gail, the Nursery Cook has been with us since the nursery opened in 2002.
Over the years Gail has gained her Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and Level 3 in Institutional Housekeeping and Catering.
