Busy Bees at Corby
Why choose Busy Bees at Corby: -
Our Corby nursery is set within an impressive purpose built building designed for use as a children's day care facility.
The nursery has 4 childcare rooms, namely; a baby unit (with a dedicated milk kitchen, sleeping and change area), a toddler room for our 1-2 year olds (with its own toilets), Tweenies room for our 2-3 years olds (with its own toilets) and a pre-school for our 3-5 years olds (with its own toilets).
Each room is fully equipped with a wide selection of toys and learning materials and each has its own access to our impressive outside play area which is set within a secure fenced area at the rear of the nursery.
The outside play area has rubber safety matting and an all weather play surface. It also has a wide selection of outside apparatus and equipment and is monitored via CCTV.
Facilities at the nursery include: -

I first started working at the Corby site in 2006 and have been in the Managers post for the last year and a half. Like myself and some of my team we have all seen our own children progress and develop into confident little people whilst attending our very own setting,
With over 12 years’ experience in the child care industry I am a highly motivated professional who is committed to offering high quality child care. I hold a level 3 Diploma in child care and education and also a NVQ 4 in child care which I gained whilst working as a deputy manager. I continue to attend relevant child care courses to enhance and increase my knowledge with the most recent course being the Northamptonshire Baby Room Project.
I have two young children of my own, , my eldest has attend from babies through to going to school and she has enjoyed her time and experiences at nursery and I feel that this definitely helped her to prepare for school and made the transition easy.
My youngest currently attends in the baby unit after I returned from maternity leave and I have already seen a huge difference in her development from spending time with children her own age and the activities that are provided by her key worker.
I am passionate about working in childcare as every day brings you new challenges and joy, as you see the children learn and practice new skills though fun activities. We enjoy building positive relationships with the parents and children and always like to get everyone involved in events and activities
