Why choose Busy Bees in Peterborough : -

The nursery has been part of the local community since 2002, when we first opened we were one of the few buildings around, alongside the shops and the school, since then Hampton has grown massively and we are very proud to have maintained our role with the community.
The nursery is next door to the local primary school and has close links with the teachers, we meet with the Reception Coordinator periodically to ensure the work our staff are doing with your children will best enable their transition to school, we also work with other local primary schools too.

We have very close links with the local children’s centre right next to the nursery, we occasionally hold joint events (Such as our joint pitch at the Hampton Autumn Fair) and work closely with families within our community to help them fulfil a positive and happy life for their children.

The nursery currently offers several exciting initiatives such as; Busy Babies, Wake and Shake, Kinder Musik and pre-school French lessons. The nursery also offers a uniform for the pre-school children, helping them establish a sense of belonging and preparing them for school.

The nursery has recently been fully refurbished and rebranded, and we are very, very proud of our beautiful new Busy Bees Nursery. Our nursery has a dedicated and long standing staff team and is supported brilliantly by the various departments at our National Support Office, including our multi-accredited Health and Safety Department, Catering Department and Curriculum and Childcare Team, with a wealth of support you can be assured that the practices, and procedures in our nursery are second to none.

We would love to show you around, why not pop in and see us sometime!

Hi I am John, and I am the Manager here at Busy Bees in Peterborough.
I have worked at the Nursery as Manager for almost 7 years and I have worked for Busy Bees for 9 years in several different Nurseries.

I really enjoy my job, it is very rewarding and no two days are the same, leading my team to offer the best childcare and education fills me with both fantastic satisfaction and overwhelming pride and I am a firm believer that with our support and nurturing the children we look after today can grow up to become the influential people of future years.

I never take for granted how privileged I am in my career, I see and experience moments in my job that some people will never have the opportunity to, children’s first words, first steps and graduating them off to their first day of school are just some of the truly magical moments that I, and my team are blessed with almost every day.

I qualified in 2000 and have since undertaken several other qualifications I am a qualified manager and I am still studying even after all these years!

I truly believe that parents must chose the very best childcare for their children, it is my aim, and passion to lead my team in providing the very best care, a passion made more important as I chose the nursery for my own son George from when he was 6 months old, he is now six years old and still talks about his friends, and carers he became so fond of.

Why don’t you come along and see us, I would love to show you around our beautiful setting.
