About Us

Busy Bees is a purpose built nursery situated in Lancaster between the Asda supermarket and the Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. The nursery includes 13 playrooms, a large car park and large outdoor play areas, including a baby garden.
 

 

Meet the Manager

Nursery Manager, Julie, has a Foundation Degree in Children's Care Learning & Development and is currently working towards her Early Years Professional Status. She has worked for Busy Bees for eight years.

Food for Thought

At Busy Bees in Lancaster we make mealtimes happy social occasions, where skills can be developed and new foods tasted.

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.

Phil VickeryTo ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.

Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
