Busy Bees Day Nursery at Oldbrook in Milton Keynes is a large, purpose bulit nursery situated close to the local amenities, Central Milton Keynes and the train station.
The nursery has small rooms which has a homely atmosphere.
Julie Boulton is our Senior Nursery Manager at Oldbrook. Julie also supports Busy Bees at Milton Keynes Hospital.
Julie has 25 years of childcare experience and is commited to providing excellent outcomes for children through a stimulating learning environment and a strong partnership with parents. Julie has NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and Early Years Foundation Degree.
"I would like to say a big thank you to Gemma in the Snowdrops room. She has been an absolute star the whole time Rosie has been in her care and her and Rosie became absolute best friends! It’s quite a nervous time for a new mum putting her child in nursery for the first time but within a few weeks I could tell how happy Rosie was and it was all thanks to Gemma. Rosie has had a wonderful 7 months in Snowdrops and her last day with Gemma very sad all round but I’m pleased to say she has settled in very well in Poppies. I will always remember how great Gemma was with Rosie and that she is a real asset to your nursery. I am sure she will be very much missed when she is on maternity leave – but hopefully she’ll be back in time to look after our next baby!"

The staff are always very supportive of the children and it's so reassuring as a parent to know that the children are genuinely cared about by the staff and especially their keyworker. My daughter absolutely loves the activities offered on a daily basis and enjoys the interaction with the other children in her room. I believe the nursery has played a vital role in her development. The catering at the nursery is also fantastic and my daughter enjoys an extremely varied and healthy vegetarian diet whilst at nursery which I can gain inspiration from at home as well. To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Leapfrog Day Nursery in Milton Keynes has earned five stars from Southport District Councils Environmental Health Office.
The nursery excelled in their standard of cleanliness, tidiness and safety in their kitchen and showed that they strictly follow procedures. The nursery also showed that they have confidence in managing the kitchen, keeping control of potential hazards and documents procedures and systems.
