Busy Bees at Preston Hospital was opened in April 2004 and is a purpose built building on the grounds of the Royal Preston Hospital, for hospital staff only.
Gemma Chesworth, has worked for Busy Bees for 9 years and has been managing the nursery for 6 years. Gemma has been at Preston NHS for 5 years and holds NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Early Years.
Rachel Jackson will be working part time with Gemma on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.
To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Karen Barrington has been at Preston NHS for five years and is a great Cook. She has vast experience within the catering industry.
Karen holds a full time position at nursery and prepares great, healthy food throughout the day.
