TLC at St Albans Hospital is located on the hospital grounds and is approx one mile from the town centre.
The nursery is purpose built to the highest specifications for child-centred activities and offer the highest quality childcare for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
The nursery is registered to provide care for 48 children at anyone time.
The children enjoy lots of different activities such as outdoor play, family playtime, messy play, creative and craft activities plus lots more.
Denise Tomlinson has been in the childcare industry since 1980 and a nursery manager since 1990, having worked for TLC from 2005 onwards.
Denise is currently studying at the University of Hertfordshire for a Foundation degree in Early Years.

To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Nursery Cook, Andrew Farquharson, has been worked at the nursery since 2007.
Known as Andy by the staff and children, he is proactive in teaching the children about healthy eating and introducing them to a variety of food.
