I transferred to Busy Bees St Andrews in August 2005 after joining the company in May 2005 as a Maternity Cover Manager.
I first qualified as a nursery nurse in 1995 when I gained my Btec National Diploma. Since then I have gained a wealth of experience within different childcare settings from being a full time nanny caring for newborn twins and also triplets. I have also managed a pre school, after school club and a private day nursery.
Since joining the nursery in 2005 I have gained various qualifications and training including First Aid, First Aid at Work, Food Hygiene 2 & 3, Health & Safety and in September 2010 I completed my NVQ4 in Childcare.
I am always looking to further my own personal development and also that of my team, ensuring we access up to date training. Laurissa, my Assistant Manager, has completed her Foundation Degree and is currently attending university to gain her BA Honours in Early Years.
I have a long serving senior management team who all have a minimum of 5 years service.
I am proud of my team who make a difference to the lives of the children they care for, providing them with new opportunities everyday in a safe and stimulating environment.
