Leapfrog in Stevenage is a purpose built, single storey building. The nursery is situated near to both the town centre and the train station. The nursery is large and spacious; each room has access to our secure, age appropriate outdoor play areas.
Nursery Manager, Lisa, holds an NNEB and has been qualified in childcare for 14 years.

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.
To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Sue House is our full time Catering Manager and has been here since June 2007. She has been a Chef for 17 years, and has worked as a Nursery Chef for 5 of these years.
Sue holds her Intermediate Food and Hygiene Certificate. All the children like Sue and ask her what she is cooking for them each time they see her. Sue has a good understanding of portion size for children and says "I really enjoy watching the children eat what I have made them and the older ones say thank you to me when they see me which is lovely."
Linda is our Kitchen Assistant and has worked here for 2 years and holds her Basic Food and Hygiene certificate. Linda helps Sue prepare the food to be cooked and maintains the high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen.
Linda says "I really enjoy my time at the nursery, and its great to see how well the children eat."
