TLC Day Nursery at Watford Hospital is located within the hospital grounds and is open to both NHS trust employees and the general public.
The Nursery is a 46 place nursery with three individual base rooms that are bright and welcoming to each age group. The nursery has a large, secure outdoor play area that is is accessible from each of the indoor base rooms.
Mandy Fieldstead is the Nursery Manager at Watford General Hospital.
Mandy has been working at the nursery since August 2004 and is a level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse who is currently studying to complete the Early Years Foundation Degree.

To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
The Chef at Watford General Hospital is Nizar Hamed who has been working at this nursery since March 2009.
