About Us

Busy Bees in Bishops Stortford is a single storey, purpose built nursery located in a quiet residential area. The nursery is situated in St Michaels Mead just off the A1184 bypass close to the M11 and Stansted Airport.
 

 

Meet the Manager

Mandy Caslake, the Nursery Manager joined Busy Bees in February 2009. She is currently in the second year studying for her Early Years Foundation Degree.

Mandy is also First Aid trained and a Safe Guarding Officer.

At Busy Bees in Bishops Stortford we make mealtimes happy social occasions, where skills can be developed and new foods tasted.

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.

Phil VickeryTo ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.

Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.

  • We have a herb garden and vegetable patch where the children we grow our own vegetables in the children’s very own vegetable patch

Meet Our Catering Team

Ashley is our Nursery Cook and is qualified to NVQ Level 2 in catering AVCE in Hospitality & Catering. Ashley helped the nursery to achieve 4 out of 5 stars for Hygiene Kitchen Cleanliness.
