Why choose Busy Bees in Cheadle: -

Busy Bees in Cheadle provides OUTSTANDING childcare as reported by Ofsted in 2011

Busy Bees at Cheadle is a 67 place, purpose built, single storey nursery located within the grounds of the Kingsway Lower School in Cheadle. The nursery is easily accessible from the motorway networks.

The nursery has four large base rooms consisting of two baby rooms, a toddler room and a pre-school room. Each unit is led and managed by a Base Room Manager who co-ordinates the learning and enjoyment of the children.

There are three outdoor areas, two for the children to enjoy and they have access to these using a free-flow system to ensure children spend as much time outdoors as possible. They also have access to their very own vegetable plot.

My name is Jennie Rahali and I am the nursery manager here at Cheadle. I am a fully qualified Nursery Nurse and have worked for Busy Bees for 7 years. I have a HND in Early Years Education which I studied at Stockport college and I am currently studying to gain my Early Years Professional status with Edge Hill University.

There is a strong and committed staff team here at Cheadle and part of my role sees me managing and coaching staff during staff meetings, appraisals, supervisions and day-to-day contact. I have a strong commitment to training and have attended a wide selection of courses relating to child development, First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and staff development. We hold Investors in People and have a strong commitment to staff development encouraging the staff to attend courses such as Pediatric First Aid, Child Development, Makaton, Food Hygiene, Learning through Play and the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Partnership with Parents at our nursery is strong and we have a Parent Liaison Group which is a forum for parents to tell us what they think and to get involved in nursery life.

Our last OFSTED inspection was in November 2011 and we are currently awaiting our outcome from OFSTED.
