Our Farnborough nursery is set within an impressive purpose built building specifically designed for us for use as a children's day care facility.

The nursery has 4 childcare rooms, namely; a baby unit (with a dedicated milk kitchen, sleeping and change area), a toddler room for our 1-2 year olds (with its own toilets), Tweenies room for our 2-3 years olds (with its own toilets) and a pre-school for our 3-5 years olds (with its own toilets).

Each room is fully equipped with a wide selection of toys and learning materials and each has its own access to our impressive outside play area which is set within a secure fenced area at the rear of the nursery.

Hi my name is Katherine and I have managed the Farnborough Q nursery since December 2009. I joined the Busy Bees team as a Manager in January 2012 following the company’s acquisition of the nursery and my return from maternity leave. With almost 20 years experience working with children I have a passion to ensure myself and my team deliver the highest quality childcare. During my previous experience I have worked in a variety of nursery settings, as a children’s representative in Spain, and as a Childcare Manager for Virgin Active to name a few. All of these have combined to give me the wealth of knowledge needed to manage a busy nursery.

I have 2 children of my own who come to nursery with me, my daughter who attends the pre-school and my son who has settled fantastically in to the baby room. Both children have formed strong bonds with their key workers and they definitely give me their own feedback as to how much fun they have at nursery!

I thoroughly enjoy my job and it is a pleasure to see all the children develop on a day to day basis. We have a strong vision as a nursery team and feel that we play an important role in this very key part of a child’s life.
