Busy Bees at Hillingdon Hospital is a purpose built nursery for 96 children per day. It is located in the grounds of Hillingdon Hospital with special rates for Hillingdon Trust. The nursery is close to Uxbridge town centre.
Shirley Miller started at Hillingdon nursery in November 2009.
Shirley previously managed our Sudbury Hill nursery (Leapfrog - part of the Busy Bees group) before transferring to Busy Bees at Hillingdon Hospital.
She is a dedicated and hard working manager which prides herself on managing a clean bright happy nursery where children come to have fun while learning through play.
Shirley has two grown up children whom she is very proud of and three grand children.

We are dedicated to providing your children with fresh, well-balanced meals every day; that not only taste great, but that also provide lots of nourishment.
To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Under 5's Healthy Eating Award
Busy Bees Nursery at Hilligdon Hospital has received ‘Healthy Under 5’s’ award, a healthy eating initiative run by the NHS.
The Healthy Under 5’s award is a unique programme aimed at improving the lifestyles of children under five years old in Uxbridge, who receive childcare outside their homes.
To win the award, the Busy Bees nursery provided evidence that healthy meals and snacks are part of the children’s daily food intake, and children are encouraged to eat plenty of fruit and water throughout the day. The nursery was also granted the award following their efforts to present vegetables in an interesting and easy-to-eat way.
The nursery cook is Kiran Ranjalingham. Kiran has worked at the nursery since 2002 and is a qualified chef holding qualifications in city and guilds 1&2, cake decorating 3 and Health and hygiene intermediate level.
Kiran became a finalist in the NMT nursery cook of the year 2008 awards. We have got 5 stars from environmental health.
