Busy Bees at Hove
Why choose Busy Bees at Hove: -
Busy Bees at Hove operates within a large two story detached house, where we have aimed to keep a lot of the original features of the house to provide a home from home feel. We are on the main commuter route and have easy access two minutes away from the A27, 10 minutes from Brighton and Hove stations that have direct routes to London. We are in a residential area but only 10 minutes away from the main city centre of Brighton.
We have a beautiful large garden that lends itself to a multitude of outdoor activities that your child can participate in.
We provide care for 0-5 year olds, operating all year round (except bank holidays) from 8am to 6pm – Monday to Fridays.
Children are provided with breakfast, lunch and tea, with healthy snacks twice a day (e.g. fruit/vegetable crudités), Milk and fresh drinking water.
We like to invite guests into the nursery for the children to enjoy – we have had vets, dentists, fire brigade, Zoolab and in the near future will have a mobile farm to visit!

I have worked at the Hove nursery since September 2008. I gained my NVQ level III in childcare and education and am currently working towards the Chartered Management Institute’s level 5 qualification in leadership and management in the Early Years.
I have completed paediatric first aid training, safeguarding training, basic food hygiene and special educational needs training.
I have worked in the early years sector for twelve years working in the private sector nurseries, childminding, playwork, wrap around care for before and after school and holiday clubs for 3-16 year olds.
My passion lays firmly working in nurseries and working to support my team in aiding them in their professional development, which in turn provides a skilled and experienced work force to deliver excellent childcare and education to your child.
Knowing that what we provide to the children - to stimulate a sense of curiosity, to excite, challenge, inspire, to care and love - all contributes to a strong sense of wellbeing in the child. Therefore we aim to nurture well rounded, confident and happy children – ready to take on all the little challenges that come their way!
This gives us a real sense of pride and achievement when we know we have been a part of their journey, from seeing them from tiny babies and taking first steps right to preparing them ready for the transition to school.
I understand that we are in a privileged position to care for your child, and that all families have different needs to be met, so we aim to be open to listen and hear what parents and carers have to say and pride ourselves on delivering an open approach where you feel welcomed and a part of what we do here.
So do come and see us, you are assured a warm welcome by the team and myself.
