Our preschool area contains 2 rooms which are set up with our children in mind, 1 room is set up with messy play including sand, water, paint, creative modelling and gloop, there is also a science and investigation area as well as a music area. The 2nd room has a large home corner, cosy corner and block area, this room also leads directly out into the garden area.

We are situated in a housing estate just a short distance room the A14/A12 Copdock interchange roundabout next to Tesco’s. We are also very local to the town centre. We have our own private car park which makes dropping off and picking up your children stress free.

The nursery is open 7.30am and closes at 6.00pm, we have a morning session which runs between 7.30am and finishes at 12.30pm and an afternoon session which runs from 1pm until 6pm. We also offer Free entitlement sessions for children the term after their third birthday.

Parent Partnership Group

Parent Representatives for Busy Bees at Ipswich Pinewood

Julia Vidot

I'm Julia, mum of 2 children. I have been using Busy Bees Pinewood for the second time as I work term time. I joined the group as I wanted to get involved in what goes on at nursery. I enjoy contributing ideas and bringing new things to the group that have not been thought of before.

Michael Clarkson

I am a solder with two beautiful children. I am currently living in Ipswich and have been for 3 years. I joined the group to help and support my local area and to help educate myself into what my children are learning whilst at nursery.

Sam Collins

Hi I'm Sam and I'ma Mum to 2 very active and very cheeky monkeys. My son Luke started at the nursery at 10 months and has been through all the rooms and is now in Pooh Bears before heading off to school in September. My daughter Ava also started at 10 months and is now in Rabbits room. As you'd expect we were nervous leaving both children the first few times but the staff have been fantastic and my children have been very attached to their key workers in each room.

"We had a rocky start with Luke who was not very good at coming into nursery in the mornings but the staff were great at helping him to settle in each morning and whenever we called to see how he was he was usually fine moments after we left! He's got better as he's got older but still goes through phases of not wanting to go in in the morning but then he doesn't want to come home at night either! Ava has been a different story and has gone in really well from the start."

Sam Prime

Hello my name is Sam a Mum of two. I have been bringing my son’s to the nursery since April 2013, and throughout this time I have been a parent in all rooms. Busy Bees is a big part of my son's lives as I work full time. They have taught both children the skills they need to progress, and I have witnessed both of my children grow into outgoing, confident individuals.

"Nathan has really enjoyed his time at Busy Bees and connected with his key person (Tash) who has given him encouragement and praise throughout. I've seen him grow from a shy little boy who hated being left in the mornings to a confident outgoing individual who loves learning new skills and getting involved in group activities. My other son Alex has just started in Piglets and I'm very content he will be given the same care as Nathan and will grow into a polite, confident outgoing little boy."
