Busy Bees at Nottingham City Hospital is situated in the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital in Nottingham, approximately 2-3 miles from the City Centre.

The nursery is purpose built to the highest specifications for child-centred activities and offers quality care from the age of six weeks to 5 years.

Parents who work in the hospital are entitled to a special 'Trust Rate' for their childcare, please ask at the nursery for further information.

We also provide Holiday Club facilities for children up to 12 years old in our 'Hive' room.

We provide Holiday Club facilities for children up to 12 years old in our 'Hive' room.
 

We have a large room and a newly built outdoor area.

  • Trips out include: Bowling, Local park, Twinlakes, Conkers and other local activities
  • Visits to the cricket field to play Cricket, Hockey, Football, Parachute games

I have been managing Busy Bees at Nottingham City Hospital since 2003, I am married and I have a little boy of my own, Harry.

I have many years experience in managing nurseries, qualifying in 1997 as a nursery nurse before working my way up to my current role.

I manage a team of 48 staff with my Assistant Managers Kerry and Sarah, ensuring that all children and parents needs are meet. We are extremely pleased with our recent OFSTED outcome of Outstanding and continually strive to exceed expectations in childcare, education and professional development.
