Busy Bees is proud to support the #firstfiveyearscount campaign which highlights the incredible difference that nurseries and the early years workforce make.

Led by the early years membership organisation, the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), the campaign aims to celebrate the early years sector and the vital contribution it makes to the first five years of a child’s life.

The one-year campaign strives to:

  • Increase understanding of the importance of early childhood education.
  • Better the perception of the early years workforce as educators of young children 0-5.
  • Address the recruitment and retention crisis.
  • Boost the positive feedback the workforce receives about their work.
  • Support the uptake of early years places within settings.

Cheryl Creaser, Europe Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are proud to show our support to the #firstfiveyearscount campaign. The first five years of a child’s life are pivotal in helping to shape their formative years. Our nursery teams are committed to giving children the best start in life and we believe they deserve recognition for the vital contribution they make in supporting children’s learning and development.”
