The UK’s leading childcare provider, with 378 children’s nurseries across the UK and Ireland

Busy Bees nurseries are renowned for providing rich learning opportunities in unique and exciting environments to give each and every child the best start in life.

During Covid 19 we kept over 100 of our nurseries open throughout the crisis to support key worker families and vulnerable children, and we are one of the largest providers of childcare to the NHS.

You'll love why we're different.

Why choose Busy Bees

Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence through working in partnership with parents to provide the highest standards of nursery care.

As a global provider of childcare we share best practise and during the pandemic we worked with our colleagues around the globe including Australia, North America and particularly south-east Asia for learning, and are confident in our measures to protect families in our care.

Safety Buzz

Safety Buzz is our safety mascot and is on hand to help promote safety, health and wellbeing in all aspects of children's lives both at home and whilst in nursery. Busy Bees has a Safety with Buzz programme which provides a range of activities and information for educators and parents alike to use to educate their child in a positive way and is designed to help children understand risks and make good decisions on how to stay safe. Busy Bees also has a ‘school readiness programme’, for children starting school in September to prepare them and give them the head start they deserve which is also supported by a digital learning programme Unleashing Potential (UP) which helps to bridge the gap between nursery and home learning.

Covering the cost of childcare isn’t always easy, so we’re really pleased to tell you about the government’s funding for 3 and 4 year olds.
