As Busy Bees educators, teaching children the important lessons about giving back to the community and helping those who are in greater need is one of the most valuable things we can share.

We take huge pride in our charity commitment and our teams selflessly dedicate time towards supporting our charity partners year in year out.

This year, we decided that as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, it only felt right to set ourselves a target of £40,000 to support our charity partner, Child Bereavement UK

We are delighted to share that we recently received the news that we have raised £20,000 for our long-standing charity partner Child Bereavement UK, which means we are halfway towards reaching our target.

Child Bereavement UK are an incredible charity that support families during challenging times when a child grieves or when a child dies.

Since 2018, we have been partnered with Child Bereavement UK and during this time, we have raised more than £200,000 thanks to the generosity of our colleagues and families.

Our valued team are always so creative in their fundraising efforts and never fail to amaze us with their charitable donations.

So far this year, Karen Mackay has completed a breath-taking wing walk for the charity which surpassed the £4,000 mark. Meanwhile our centres based in West London have collectively worked together to complete a sponsored walk which raised more than £3,000 and Kids 1st Darlington donated £1,500 thanks to its summer celebration event.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us raise £20,000, we are so grateful for all of your support and it will go a long way in helping families that are accessing the Child Bereavement UK service.
