Most Loved Workplace employees are the happiest and most satisfied at work

Busy Bees has become certified as a Most Loved Workplace®, recognising our commitment to supporting our team in the UK.

The accolade was backed by the research and analysis of the Best Practice Institute (BPI) which was established to celebrate organisations that create a great employee experience.

Busy Bees Chief People Officer Charlotte Hutchings said: “Busy Bees was established 40 years ago with a clear vision to give every child the best start in life.

“That dedication – shared by almost 25,000 colleagues worldwide, including 10,000 in the UK – runs through everything we do as a business, enabling our teams to feel part of something genuinely valuable, and supporting positive feelings of stability and security.

“We are thrilled to be named as a Most Loved Workplace, which demonstrates how committed we are to empowering and rewarding the people who deliver the highest quality early years care and education for our children.”

Busy Bees is certified as a Most Loved Workplace because of its proactive approach to employee engagement and benefits – from a culture that encourages collaboration and continuing professional development to practical wellbeing support and discounted childcare.

One of the ways Busy Bees demonstrates its difference is the pioneering Talent Exchange Programme, which will see 30 extraordinary practitioners from across Busy Bees’ global territories convene in Canada this September to share best practice and learn from colleagues.

Busy Bees, which was founded in Staffordshire in 1983, was also recently rated at 13th in the UK’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers, underlining its commitment to creating high quality career opportunities for apprentices of all ages.

The Most Loved Workplace scheme certifies companies where employees are the happiest and most satisfied at work. Busy Bees was recognised based on its scores on the Love of Workplace Index™ which surveyed staff on various elements including the level of respect, collaboration, support and sense of belonging that they feel inside the company.

Founded by social and organisational psychologist Louis Carter, BPI is an award-winning leadership development centre, think tank and online learning portal. He launched Most Loved Workplaces to celebrate companies that consciously place the wellbeing of their employees at the centre of their business model.
