Director

Kim Ziolkowski

Hello, my name is Kim and I am the centre director here at Busy Bees Ashford Godinton.

I have been in childcare now for over 16 years and have been running Godinton for the last 6 years. Along the way I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience which I reflect in my day to day practice, as well as my home life looking after my own son, all of which I use to guide the staff team and share my experiences. We are a family here at Ashford Godinton Busy Bees and I cannot wait to meet you and your families.

What
Ashford Godinton
parents say

We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Godinton Busy Bees and the incredible team who care for our little one. ❤️ Our positive experience started from the very first phone call. As a first-time mum, I was nervous and overwhelmed trying to find the right nursery. Donna answered the phone and immediately made me feel so warm, welcomed and reassured. When we came for our nursery tour, we felt exactly the same. We had visited other nurseries too, but honestly, Godinton stood out from the beginning. Something about the atmosphere, the warmth of the team and the way we were welcomed made my heart feel that our little one would thrive here and, most importantly, be genuinely cared for. Looking back, my instincts were absolutely right. Our little one is currently in Bumbo 2, and we absolutely love the whole team — Meghan, Isabelle, Courtney and Paige. A very special mention to Gemma, who truly is an absolute angel. ❤️ She is so hands-on, attentive and genuinely caring. We can clearly see the positive changes and development, and how much she genuinely cares about our little one. It is so reassuring knowing they are with someone who understands their personality and wants the very best for them. And it’s not just Gemma — the whole Bumbo 2 team are amazing. Every one of the ladies is lovely, caring, patient and attentive. They are truly real-life superheroes! 🦸‍♀️❤️ I honestly cannot thank Gemma and all the amazing ladies enough for taking such wonderful care of our little one. As parents, being able to leave our child with people we genuinely trust, knowing they are safe, happy, loved and well cared for, means absolutely everything to us. That trust is priceless. One of the things that makes us happiest is seeing how excited our little one is to go to nursery. They genuinely look forward to going, and seeing them so happy and comfortable there is the biggest reassurance we could ask for. We are also so impressed with the cleanliness of the nursery, especially the kitchen, which is always so clean and well maintained. A huge thank you to the management team, Kim and Donna. They are professional, approachable and incredibly supportive. Communication is excellent — they always respond promptly and keep us in the loop, which gives us so much reassurance as parents. From that very first phone call with Donna, to our nursery tour and now watching our little one grow and thrive in Bumbo 2, our experience with Godinton Busy Bees has been nothing short of wonderful. We genuinely feel so lucky that we chose this nursery. Thank you to Donna, Gemma, Meghan, Isabelle, Courtney, Paige, Kim and everyone at Godinton Busy Bees for caring for our little one with so much love and dedication. You are all absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t recommend you highly enough! 🌟❤️

I have had both my children go through busy bees at godinton, with my youngest just "graduating" after nearly 4 years. My wife and I have seen our children truly grow, they have both built wonderful relationships with their key workers, as they have grown older they have transitioned through the different rooms, this has always been a smooth and seamless process. The staff are honestly great. I won't name any individually but they have all been brilliant. The facilities on site are great. And my youngest always tells me he "always eats his food" (not sure i believe that, but the app allows you to check) Ultimate if your reading this, your probably looking at putting your own child here. And I honestly couldn't recommend it more.

The staff are wonderful and always welcoming. Communication is fab and we love being part of the busy bee family!
