Meet the team
Hi, my name is Victoria Solomon. I have been working at Busy Bees Nursery at Newcastle since 2003 when we opened. I started as Deputy Manager and in 2005 was promoted to Nursery Manager.
I qualified as a NNEB in the summer of 1990 and have worked in a wide range of setting in the 13 years leading up to working at the nursery. This has included both private settings and schools and a variety of work with under 5’s and also children with hearing impairment and special educational needs. I have also trained further at both Newcastle and Northumbria Universities to gain module qualifications in leadership and in management of the early years.
I live locally with my son who is now 12 years old and in my spare time I volunteer and lead at a church youth group and plan and run a summer church holiday club. I am also a member of a Contemporary Choir in Newcastle and love to sing. I love to spend time with my family in the outdoors and walking at the coast. I love listening to music and going to concerts and the theatre.
I am extremely proud of my nursery and team. Gaining an Ofsted rating of Outstanding along with the Busy Bees Centre of Excellence Status just shows what a fantastic nursery we have here. They are highly qualified, experienced and enthusiastic practitioners providing an excellent level of care in a fun, safe and stimulating environment with outstanding outdoor facilities. We focus on children as individuals ensuring they have an excellent foundation to learning, meeting their individual needs. We always go above and beyond to provide the very best service and the highest quality care and education.
You will always receive a very warm, professional welcome and we all look forward to meeting you.
