Absolutely not - as a parent with us, your access to the Busy Bees App begins as soon as your place in nursery is secured, no additional fees to use the app will ever be required.
With the Busy Bees App, you can access separate accounts for your children in one place (so long as they attend the same Busy Bees nursery).
Please just log this within your child’s profile - you will see the calendar options there for you so please select the date and advise us why your child will not be coming to nursery.
We are slowly tranistioning away from pebble. Once billing is available for your centre, you will be able to book extra sessions in the Busy Bees App.
It's really easy to upate your personal details within the ‘Your Child’s Details’ section of the Busy Bees App. Your nursery will be alerted of the change. Should key elements change, such as your child developing an allergy, please update this on the app and be ready to meet with your nursery team so that we can work together to understand the changing needs of your child and ensure the correct systems are in place.
We're making things easier for you, soon everything will be available the Busy Bees App. For now:
Parent Zone will remain active, allowing you to access photos, records, and observations. We'll let you know when it will be closing and help with any downloads you need - access will remain available for one month after you leave.
UP and all relevant resources remain available, and in time they will be integrated into the Busy Bees App.
Pebble is still in use for booking extra sessions, but in time this functionality will be made available on the Busy Bees App.
As you register for the new app, the terms and conditions will be available for you to view and confirm that you are happy to accept them. Under your account within the app, you will be also able to see the data security and processing information if you should wish to retrieve it.
It is optional to add your address and telephone details for yourself, but it is important to note that by doing so, you are agreeing that other parties involved with your child’s account will see this information.
You can set notifications on the Busy Bees App to alert you when anything is updated, or if you prefer, when a new fortnightly learning observation is updated. Your settings enable you to use the system as you wish. All daily updates, fortnightly learning observations, key nursery news and much more will be here for you.
While the Busy Bees App provides an accessible route to your child’s time in Busy Bees, it doesn’t replace face-to-face communication, so please engage with your nursery team at drop off and pick up too.
While the Busy Bees App provides a convenient hub for nursery information, it's not a replacement for the valuable conversations that happen during drop-off and pick-up times. Please continue to engage with your nursery team in person where possible.
Your child's learning observations will primarily be completed by their Key Person. However, other nursery staff may contribute at times to ensure key learning moments are captured. Daily updates about meals, sleep times, and nappy changes will be recorded by the nursery team working in your child's room.
The app is a two-way platform, enabling you to add your own notes and photos to your child's Learning Journal from home. These can help our educators plan personalised activities.
Before our payment goes live in your centre you will need to confirm your child’s attendance schedule with your Centre Director. Remember, four weeks’ notice is required for session changes or leaving. Once the feature is active, please add your payment method in the app to securely view and pay invoices.
