Hello, my name is Alex McKean and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees at Maidenhead Cookham Road.

Here at our centre, we create a warm, caring and nurturing environment where children can feel secure and enjoy a home-from-home experience. Our Bee Curious curriculum brings learning to life through play, exploration and experiences that are tailored to the individual children in our care, helping them develop their confidence, curiosity and independence.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child and sharing in all the exciting moments of their early years journey.

We’ve had such a lovely experience with Busy Bees Nursery Maidenhead. The team members are incredibly kind, caring, and always make both children and parents feel welcome. Our child settled in comfortably thanks to the warm and supportive environment, and it’s clear how much thought goes into the daily activities—they’re fun, engaging, and really help with development and confidence. Communication is great, with regular updates that give real peace of mind via the App and phone calls. The nursery itself is clean, well-organised, and full of great resources for the kids. We’d definitely recommend Busy Bees to other parents looking for a safe, friendly, and nurturing place.
