Our purpose-built childcare setting is conveniently located at the Milton Keynes University Hospital grounds and close to the Milton Keynes Central train station. Our nursery is easily accessible by bus, train, or car to and from all main commuter routes but not via the hospital entrances. At Busy Bees Saxon Street, we have ample on-site car parking as well as a handy buggy store for those arriving on foot.

In our baby room, we have a separate sleeping area where our babies can sleep peacefully while the older children can continue to learn and explore their environments. The bright and stimulating spaces offer a wide range of resources available both indoors and outdoors. Gardens are an extension from the children's base rooms and each age group has access to its own garden area. The free flow system in place supports children's independence. There are lots of opportunities for the babies and children to explore, create and enjoy extracurricular activities such as yoga, teddy tennis, and football.

We also pride ourselves in building excellent relationships with parents and we are always available to offer advice, suggestions and support to all parents, as well as reassurance when leaving your precious bundle for the first time.   We would love to welcome you and your child to visit Busy Bees Saxon Street. Hello I’m Claire and I am the Centre Director for Busy Bees at Milton Keynes Hospital.

I have worked for Busy Bees since 2004 and have been in the childcare sector for 24 years. I started as a Qualified Early Years Educator in 2004 at Busy Bees Oldbrook and have worked my way up the career ladder to become a Nursery Manager.

I hold a NNEB in Childcare and Education and a level 4 in Leadership and Management. I am an enthusiastic and passionate manager who is always prepared to go that extra mile to improve and develop the care for our children, parents and staff. I enjoy being able to watch all the children grow and develop through the nursery, build great partnerships up with the parents and work alongside the staff team to provide outstanding care.

I really enjoy learning new information which I can then share with the staff and put in place in the nursery to ensure all families are receiving the best support and the children are receiving the best start in life. The best part of my job is meeting new children and parents and supporting them with their transition into nursery, I love to see the children learn, grow and develop into happy confident independent little people ready for school.

We’ve had a really positive experience with this nursery. Katie, Lucy, Claire, Amy, and Danni are all incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and well-being. It’s clear they create a safe and nurturing environment where kids feel happy and comfortable. The activities are thoughtfully planned and encourage learning through play, which has really helped with confidence and social skills. Communication with parents is also excellent – we’re always kept updated on progress and daily activities. It’s so reassuring to see the effort and love they put into each child’s care. We’ve noticed a lovely improvement in independence and interaction. Overall, we would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
