Nursery Facilities

Conveniently located within Watford General Hospital, our childcare in Watford is ideal for anyone working at the hospital or in the nearby area. We welcome children of all ages, from babies to preschoolers, and are equipped to support your little one physically, academically and emotionally.

We are easily accessible via public transport, with multiple bus stops located a stone's throw from the hospital itself.   There is parking on-site, however, this is hospital-owned, rather than privately owned by Busy Bees, so please bear this in mind and pay within the hospital.   For parents arriving on foot or via public transport, we have a handy buggy storage area so that strollers and pushchairs can be safely stored while your child is with us for the day, ready for collection at the end of the day.

We’re strong believers in learning through play, so your child will take part in a variety of games and activities designed to support their development and help them grow into curious, capable learners. We’re dedicated to ensuring your little one hits their key development milestones, so we align our activities with our Bee Curious curriculum.

From exploring the magic of books to building confidence in social environments, we’ll support your child as they take those all-important first steps on their learning journey. There’s even a covered outdoor play area, packed with age-appropriate apparatus, perfect for getting a daily dose of activity and boosting their physical development.

Director

Natalia Majsterek

I’m Natalia, the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Watford Hospital.

I have worked in the early years sector for over 11 years, including the past three years in management. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for supporting children to feel confident, capable and valued, while ensuring they receive the highest standards of care, learning and development.
I previously worked for Busy Bees several years ago as a Deputy Manager, and I am delighted to have returned to the organisation in a Nursery Manager position. Having experience within Busy Bees previously has given me a valuable understanding of the organisation, while my wider experience has enabled me to bring new ideas, knowledge and leadership to my role.
My leadership approach is centred around fairness, consistency, accountability and respect. I believe that every child is unique and should be given the opportunity to develop their independence, make choices and build confidence in their own abilities. I strongly believe that children learn best when they are encouraged to take an active role in their learning and are supported by caring, knowledgeable and consistent adults.
As a manager, I have high expectations for myself and my team. I believe that clear boundaries, consistency and strong professional standards are essential in creating a safe and positive environment for children. I am a firm and structured leader, but I also believe in supporting my team, listening to their ideas and recognising the important contribution each individual makes to the nursery.
I recently relocated from London to Hemel Hempstead and am excited to be building my professional journey within the local community. I look forward to developing positive relationships with our children, families and wider team, and to creating a nursery environment where children feel safe, confident, independent and excited to learn.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and rescue dog, Lucky, who is very much part of the family

What
Watford
parents say

A lovely nursery with genuinely caring staff. Our little one settled in quickly and comes home chattering away about the day. We’ve found the whole experience reassuring, warm, and wonderfully organised.

We are so happy with Busy Bees Nursery! The staff are truly amazing — warm, caring, and dedicated to every child. Since Zoe started in September, she has learned so much and grown in confidence and independence. It’s clear that she feels safe, loved, and supported every day. They look after her so well, and we honestly feel that choosing Busy Bees was the best decision we could have made. We couldn’t be more grateful to the wonderful team! 💛🐝

It’s lovely and very friendly place. My second child is at nursery and I’m very happy. i can trust them and they take very good care of my child.
