We understand that each child develops at their own pace, so our Ashbrooke nursery is divided into several rooms, each tailored to specific age ranges and development stages. What's more, each room has direct access to our custom-designed outdoor spaces, so your little one can flow freely from indoor play to outdoor exploration, all under the watchful eye of our expert staff.

And if your child is hungry for even more adventure (they always are) they'll be able to participate in exciting extracurricular activities and off-site visits throughout the year.

We're conveniently located on Gorse Road, just a seven-minute drive from Sunderland city centre. And with ample on-site car parking, drop-offs and pick-ups are a breeze.

Arriving by bus? You'll find several stops nearby, including one on Esplanade West, serviced by bus numbers 22A, 22 & 23 Sapphire, 61 and 451.

Travelling by train? We're a ten-minute walk from the Sunderland Interchange. And if you're arriving on foot, we've got a handy buggy storage, so you can leave any bulky buggies or sizeable strollers with us until the end of the day.

Kids1st Ashbrooke is overseen by Bekki Grimes, who's personally involved in all aspects of the centre, from activities to approving menus.
