Nursery in Chesterfield

We first sent our oldest to Busy Bees Barlborough in August 2022 and she is set to leave in September to go to school. We also began sending our second daughter in 2024 and are planning to send our youngest from March 2026. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the facility. It's such a fantastic place and we know our children are safe, loved and well looked after. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.

We couldn't be happier with Busy Bees nursery. Since my son started in September, the girls have been so welcoming, caring and supportive, making his transition into nursery life feel completely natural. We absolutely love the daily photos and constant updates - it's so reassuring to see what he's been up to and know that nothing is missed. The themed events are always fantastic, from Pudsey Day and Santa's visit to lovely tea parties. So much thought and effort clearly goes into making each day fun and memorable for the children. A special mention must go to Laura and Shannon, who have been wonderful with my son. He talks about them all the time at home, which says everything about the bond they've built and how happy he feels in their care. The management team are amazing too - Stacey is incredibly kind, warm and approachable, and the whole team works seamlessly together. We are so grateful for everything you do. Keep it up!

My child has been with this nursery since January 2024 and I have had nothing but a positive experience with them! The children really are put first all the time and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

My daughter has just started at Busy Bees aged 1.Prior to this my son attended from aged 10 months until starting reception. With both children i cannot fault the nursery. I have never worried when my children are there and the staff are caring and go above and beyond. I reccomend it to everyone!

Our experience has been nothing but amazing for our boy. Since going full time from mid 2025 he has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, always have smiles on their faces. Would highly recommend. :)

I have always been extremely happy with the care that both my children have received at this nursery, my eldest is now at school but my youngest still attends three times a week.The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring, and both children settled in quickly and happily from the start. My eldest child has additional SEN needs, and the support provided was outstanding. Everyone has always worked closely with me and helped put everything in place for her future in school, we wouldn't be where we are today without all of the busy bees team! Both of my girls have made fantastic progress during their time there. I am and always will be very grateful to the whole team for all their support and I have always highly recommend this nursery to any family.

The team were fantastic when our daughter started with them at 1 year old. Stacey was great answering all of our questions as it was our first interaction with nursery. She organised lots of settling in sessions which helped our daughter adjust to her new environment, and when it took her a little longer than most they volunteered more sessions and adapted a plan to suit her. Megan was fantastic as her key worker, really reassuring for our daughter and kept us up to date of her progress. The whole of the Bombos 1 team were welcoming, warm and nurturing, we couldn't have asked for more.

My daughter has attended for over a year now and both mine and her experience has been second to none. There is a family atmosphere as soon as you step through the door. Communication is always clear. All staff go above and beyond. I couldn't be happier.

Every time Alexander and I arrive at the Nursery we are greeted with a big smile and a welcome at the door, and when we arrive at his nursery room we are once again greeted, the staff are very friendly and happy to welcome Alex in. During the day I get frequent updates and photos and it brings me great joy to see how well he is being looked after and how happy and active he is. The team work very hard to make sure he is learning and having fun which is reassuring, especially as new parents going through the process of leaving our child with new people frequently for the first time. We are very happy with our choice of nursery. The staff at Busy Bees are amazing and I wouldn't think twice when recommending them to other parents.
