Busy Bees nursery at Leicester Carlton Park is housed in a purpose built, 2 storey building, which is surrounded by large areas of grassland, a golf course and a duck pond.
Our nursery was beautifully refurbished in May 2014, and holds 116 children, aged 3 months to 5 years, in 4 spacious, themed base rooms. We also have 3 beautifully presented garden areas for the children to explore and enjoy.
We provide a range of activities for the children to enjoy throughout their day, following the EYFS curriculum. In the garden, children can experience our Mud Kitchen, and Climbing wall. We also have extra curricular activities, such as Wake and Shake, to get the children energised for their day; Jo Jingles music and movement sessions, to encourage learning and development through fun and structured classes; Busy Babies, to enhance your baby’s senses through play and exploration; External Tennis Lessons for the Pre-School children, and we also have Pre-School trips to farms, science centres and many other exciting places.
Our team are passionate and committed to providing quality care to both children and their families. Currently, on our long-standing staff team, we have nearly 70% of our staff team qualified to level 3 or above, with many more working towards their qualification, through our internal training scheme. Also, we have a staff member with a degree in childcare, and a Qualified Early Years Professional. Our friendly team are available to offer advice and support to families wherever needed.
If you would like your child to be cared for in a warm, loving, homely environment, then do not hesitate arrange an appointment to come and visit, to see our beautiful nursery, and meet our friendly staff team.
