Hello, I am Cath! I have worked in Early Years for over 20 years, 15 of these have been in a senior position and the past 10 have been working within a support role developing quality within regions, supporting nurseries to develop their environments and practices with my main aim to always provide the best provision for the children within our care.
I enjoy learning and attending training courses to extend my professional development. I first gained a BTEC in childhood studies, moving onto gain Early Years Professional Status, then a Foundation Degree in Early Years and never one to quit a Degree in Educational Studies. I strive for improvement in all I do and will always encourage this within the team I support.
Within previous roles, I have trained people of all levels and really enjoyed this so the team here at Eastleigh will be heavily involved in fun training courses as part of our staff meetings to keep our knowledge as up to date as possible.
I live within the local area of Chandlers Ford with my partner and young daughter who has brightened up every aspect of our lives. We love to take her out to new and exciting places together as a family. She loves the outdoors and is a very exploratory child, although sometimes does not always end up the cleanest!
I do not enjoy lots of exercise but in the past 7-8 years have found a great enjoyment in swimming and have always tried to go as often as I can. As a family we also enjoy long walks during our weekends.
I am very excited to be part of re-opening Eastleigh and welcoming you into the new and exciting setting, please do get in touch if you would like more information on how you could arrange a visit shortly.
I look forward to being part of the local community very soon and meeting many of you soon.
We love to hear from skilled, ambitious people who can help us give children the best start in life.
