Director

Kelly Maskell

Hi, my name’s Kelly and I’m the Centre Director at Busy Bees Clare Park. I’ve been part of the Busy Bees family since 2008, and have over two decades of experience working with babies and young children.

I hold several qualifications, including a CACHE Level 3 and 4 Diploma in Childcare and Education and a Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

I’m passionate about creating a varied and stimulating environment for outdoor play for all children, as well as developing strong links in the local community.

I’m also hugely enthusiastic about extracurricular events, as well as helping children to understand how to protect nature and support our own wellbeing.

What
East Malling
parents say

We moved my son here as he wasn't getting on well with another nursery. We were so pleased with how quickly he settled here, the staff have really made an effort to get to know him (which I think has made all of the difference!) and now he runs into nursery and sometimes even forgets to say bye! It's such a welcome change to having to drag him in crying at the previous nursery. His confidence has also grown massively, chatting with friends and family where he used to always cling to myself and my husband. You can really tell he has a great day too and he is learning a lot. Only reason it isn't 5/5 is because I wish we got a few more photos than we do currently (sometimes once a fortnight).

I couldn’t be happier with the experience my child has had at this nursery. From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and attentive to his needs. The care and dedication they show truly stands out. What has impressed me most is how much my child has thrived in their environment. His development has come on in leaps and bounds. The team takes the time to understand each child as an individual. It’s clear how much effort the staff put into creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing atmosphere. The communication with parents is excellent as well I always feel informed and involved. I’m genuinely grateful for everything the nursery has done for my child. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and development-focused setting. They are absolutely fantastic!
