Busy Bees at Edinburgh Park provides an excellent environment for children to grow, develop and learn. Our Edinburgh Park nursery offers a wide array of resources and activities for children to utilise for exploration and play.

Busy Bees nursery at Edinburgh Park is within easy driving distance of many local amenities and also has great road and rail links. 

Gyle station is a two-minute drive away from us, while Edinburgh Park station is slightly further at five minutes.  

Parents making use of our childcare in Edinburgh Park benefit from secure nursery access, ample on-site parking and a handy buggy store for those who arrive on foot and need to leave pushchairs in a safe location.  

Staff at our day nursery in Edinburgh Park are highly trained and strive to provide the best possible care for your child, encouraging both mental and physical development in a warm, comfortable environment. We have a dedicated teacher on-site, providing activities and resources that actively encourage learning in alignment with our Bee Curious curriculum. 

Busy Bees offers a homely environment to encourage children to behave and learn in a way that will be expected of them when the move on in their educational journey. We have spaces available for children, with government funding options also available.

Marie Arthur

My name is Marie Arthur and I'm the Centre Director at Edinburgh Park.

Bringing over two decades of experience in early years education, including 12 years in managerial roles. Since beginning my career in 1999, I have been dedicated to helping children thrive—providing the care, support, and enriching experiences they need to reach their full potential.

At Edinburgh Park, I lead a passionate team focused on creating high-quality environments that nurture learning and development. My leadership is driven by a deep commitment to excellence and a genuine love for seeing children grow, develop and learn.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cheering on my favourite football teams, and relaxing with my beloved dogs.

As our daughter leaves nursery this year to start her next adventure at school, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for the wonderful care and support she received during her time here. From the very beginning, the staff created a warm, nurturing, and welcoming environment where she felt safe, happy, and encouraged to learn. We watched her grow in confidence, develop new skills, make lovely friendships, and become excited about learning every day. The dedication, kindness, and patience shown by all the staff made a real difference to her development and wellbeing. We always felt reassured knowing she was in such caring and capable hands.
