A warm welcome

from our Director
 - Centre Director

Director

Alexandria Askew

Hi, my name is Alex and I am the Centre Director at Busy Bees at Peterborough Hampton.

I have worked with Busy Bees since November 2021. I originally started working in Childcare as an apprentice and worked my way from Level 2 to then gaining my Level 3 qualification.

I joined the Busy Bees team as the Assistant Centre Director here at Peterborough, since then I have achieved lots within the company, I was given the opportunity to take on the Centre Director Designate role being able to support a variety of different centres to achieve the highest standards of care and education, this has given me a wide range of tools and experiences to use moving forward.

I have recently returned to the Peterborough Nursery to take on the Centre Director Role and this time, with my beautiful Baby Girl. Since having my Daughter I have found myself embarking on the same journey as all new parents do and seen visible importance of their nursery journey as well as all the important milestones to be achieved during their Early Years.

I see myself to be a very hands on leader and enjoy coaching and guiding the staff team to join me with ongoing enthusiasm and love for their roles. As a result I will be making it my ultimate goal to ensure that all children within our nursery are receiving the best quality of care and education throughout their journey here at Busy Bees allowing them to have the Best Start in Life.
