A warm welcome

from our Director
 - Centre Director

Director

Nicola Cornford

Hello, my name is Nic and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Holmes Chapel.

I have over 20 years experience in childcare, working my way up from a newly qualified CACHE Level 3, to now an NVQ level 4 centre director. I also hold a PANCO certificate and a Level 3 certificate for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings.

I have been a nursery manager since 2018 where I opened a newly furbished nursery with my previous company. My first Ofsted secured an outstanding certification.

My goal for Holmes Chapel, is to ensure every child has their individual needs met, allowing them to develop and progress at a rate that suits them. We want the children to have fun, participate in new experiences and develop their independence in a way that meets their needs.

I also wish development for the team; allowing them to have responsibility for their own development and allowing them a space to be able to shine and bring their own experiences to enhance the nursery and the children’s learning.

Meet the amazing team

What
Holmes Chapel
parents say

Have loved watching our son's confidence grow since starting at Busy Bees. The staff have been really supportive and our boy has grown to love his time at nursery.

This nursery has been such a positive experience for our daughter and our family. The staff are incredibly warm, professional, and dedicated, and they really take the time to understand each child’s individual needs. Our daughter has thrived here — socially, emotionally, and developmentally — and it’s reassuring to know she’s in such safe and capable hands. The activities are engaging, the environment is welcoming, and communication with parents is always clear and supportive. We’re extremely thankful for the care they provide and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Love the nursery and amazing development for little ones! Thank you the staff really do care for the children!
