Our mission is to spark your little one’s curiosity, setting them off on a lifelong learning adventure, equipped with the knowledge they need to thrive. Our passionate, dedicated staff pride themselves on creating a nurturing environment, where your child will make friends, build their independence, and grow in confidence every day. 

We even offer a variety of exciting extracurricular activities, including Pro Tots-Sport, where your little one will develop their physical coordination, hone their teamwork skills, and get a regular dose of outdoor exercise. We also have a dedicated Spanish teacher, who’ll introduce your child to the wonders of a second language through interactive and fun-filled sessions. 

Busy Bees Hove is overseen by centre director Lucy Walker who pours sixteen years of childcare experience into cultivating a safe and supportive environment for your child.

We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child. Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Hove are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

Our modern, refurbished nursery in Hove is conveniently located on Dyke Road Avenue, and is easily accessible by public transport, with a bus stop on Togdean Road, served by routes 22 and 27. 

If you’re arriving by train, you’ll find Preston Park train station a short (and scenic!) 20-minute minute walk away. 

If you’re arriving by car, we have ample on-site parking on our dedicated car park, making drop-off and pick-up a breeze.

"The most welcoming nursery/preschool I’ve ever come across. Both my boys adore each member of staff that works with them. From start to where we are at now, my children love all of the activities and games that they are learning and their personal and social development is incredible not only from our parenting but aided by the talents of the busybees staff and peers. We are always informed about every aspect of the day which I particularly love. Would happily recommend to other parents."
