Director

Emma Spindley

Hello, my name is Emma Spindley and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees in Lancaster.

I have been part of Busy Bees since 2002, starting my journey as an Assistant Manager before becoming Nursery Manager in 2018. Alongside my experience, I have completed my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and NVQ Level 3 in Management, giving me a strong understanding of the care, learning and support children need during their early years.

Here at our centre, we create a warm and nurturing environment where children can feel secure, confident and ready to explore. Our team provides plenty of opportunities for children to learn through play, develop their independence and enjoy new experiences.

I look forward to welcoming you and your child and sharing in the exciting first steps of their learning journey.

Meet the amazing team

What
Lancaster
parents say

Busy Bees is a caring, welcoming, and nurturing nursery that provides a safe environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. The staff are friendly, supportive, and dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential, making it a place that both children and parents can feel happy and confident about.

Fantastic nursery for my little girl. She started at 13 months old and attends x3 a week. She has since moved up into the bigger room which feels more engaging and interactive for her. All the staff are lovely, we as parents are kept well informed of what’s going on via the app as well as what my daughter gets up to. Can’t fault anything at all- we made the right decision for her to come here and it’s a massive bonus being close to where we live.
