Busy Bees at Childwall, Liverpool is ideally situated for families living across Wavertree, Childwall and the surrounding areas of south Liverpool.

We’re dedicated to providing children with stimulating environments where they can develop the skills they need to thrive. At our day nursery in Liverpool, your child will explore the magic of books, begin to understand basic numeracy concepts, and develop the social and emotional skills that’ll support their transition into full-time education.

Our homely day nursery in Wavertree area is situated in a specially converted house and features several bright, spacious rooms packed with age-appropriate activities.

Whether they’re expressing themselves through art at painting tables, role-playing in mini-kitchens, or tearing around our secure outdoor space, your little one will be learning about the world around them without even realising it.

And they’ll be supported by friendly, dedicated staff who’ll encourage them as they develop their confidence, understanding, and self-esteem.

There’s even an additional classroom on the 2nd floor for more focused learning, where your child will explore concepts designed to prepare them for starting school.

You’ll find us on Childwall Road, with easy access to the A562 and A5058, making journeys across Liverpool and towards the city centre straightforward. We’re also close to the local shops, schools and amenities around Wavertree and Childwall, while nearby green spaces provide plenty of opportunities for family days out.

Beverley Slinn

Hello, my name is Beverley Slinn and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees at Childwall, Liverpool.

As Centre Director of a nursery, I love the variety my role brings—no two days are ever the same! Whether I’m supporting children, families, or staff, I find it incredibly rewarding to see others grow, develop, and achieve their goals.

My passion for early years began when I studied at college from 1997 to 1999, completing my NNEB Nursery Nursing Diploma. Since then, I have continued to develop my experience and knowledge within the early years sector, and I remain passionate about providing children with high-quality early education and meaningful interactions.

I believe that creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel happy, confident, and valued is at the heart of what we do. I also enjoy building strong relationships with families and supporting staff to develop their skills and achieve their own goals.

I’m proud to be part of Busy Bees and to work with a team committed to giving every child the best possible start in life.
