There is much to love about Busy Bees Matlock, nestled in the picturesque county town of Derbyshire. We offer several nursery rooms, each tailored to different age ranges and development stages. Your child will have a dedicated key worker, who will not only provide your child with support and care, but will also update you with feedback on the development and milestones your child is reaching while in the nursery setting.

We have peaceful quiet nursery rooms for our younger children, featuring safe and cosy cots, comfortable chairs and playmats, as well as stimulating sensory play equipment such as monochrome toys, musical toys and touchy-feely activities.

Our Matlock nursery boasts a fantastic outdoor play area, something which all of our children love to make the most of in the time they spend with us. Whether they enjoy bike riding, playing football, exploring safe risks on climbing equipment or simply discovering their natural surroundings, there is something for everyone.

Find out more about what our Matlock nursery has to offer by reading through the facilities below or get in touch to book a visit today!

Getting Outdoors

Our Busy Bees Matlock nursery boasts various outdoor areas for children to play and enjoy, come rain or shine! We encourage children to get out outdoors as much as possible, to get some fresh air, physical exercise and explore with friends.

An outdoor area which is particularly popular is within the wooded, forest area of our grounds. This space allows children to fully explore and discover the nature around us, playing with leaves, branches, mud and everything in between!
